Pop Culture Redefined Tidbits

Welcome to a new feature I like to call “Pop Culture Tidbits.”  Here is where I will report on things that are currently happening in pop culture or discoveries that I have made in terms of pop culture.

  • “Heroes” to Return to NBC:  It was announced yesterday that the hit TV show “Heroes” will returning next year as a 13-episode miniseries called “Heroes Reborn”.  While no storyline or characters have been announced, I am hoping that Zachary Quinto, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia will return to reprise their roles.  For more information, check out this article on TV.com and here is the teaser video that NBC released:
  • KISS Decline to Perform at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction: On their website today, KISS announced that no incarnation of the soon-to-be-inducted band would be performing at the April 10th induction ceremony in New York City.  The band claimed it was “an emotional situation where there is no way to please everyone.”  At first, I was going to say that this was another incident similar to the whole Axl Rose with his Rock Hall induction but upon reading that quote, it was the diplomatic thing to do.  More on this story at the link below.

  • New Music Discovery:  Last night while watching the Canadian sci-fi show, “Continuum”, I heard a song that I fell in love with.  The song is called “Everyone is Everyone (and Everything is Everything)” by Au4.  Here is the song:

  • “Dallas” Season 3 starts tomorrow night:  Nothing more needs to said about this.  Here is the teaser:
